Configuring GTother on Mac OS X 10.6+

This will explain how to configure Mac OS X 10.6 & 10.7 (Snow Leopard & Lion). This example is assuming you are running Mac OS X 10.6 or 10.7 with a working AirPort card installed and turned on.

  1. Click on the AirPort icon in the upper right hand corner and make sure AirPort is turned on. (Note: If you do not see an AirPort icon in your menubar, you may have this icon disabled under System Preferences.)
  2. mac_select_airport.png

  3. GTother should appear as an available network. Click on GTother to proceed.
  4. MAC_select_gtother.png

  5. A box will pop up asking for the network security key. (This is the pre-shared key and can be found HERE)

    enter PSK.png

  6. You should now be connected to GTother. You can now open your browser where you will be taken to the login portal to get on to the Internet. Here you will enter your GT account username and password.
