This example assumes that you have an Android based device with a minimum of Android 2.2. It is important to note that there are some
forum posts relating to software bugs in Android's WPA implementation. These bugs sometimes manifest when Android devices renew their network connections automatically.
The only fix for this currently is to disable and then re-enable your wireless connection to initiate a full renegotiation.
- Go to the main menu. Choose "Settings" menu, click "Wireless & networks".
- Choose "Wi-Fi settings"
- Very Important Note: If you have previously configured your device for "GTother", click "GTother" and then select "Forget this network"
- GTwifi should be an available network. Tap on it.
Next, it will ask you to configure the network. You will be using your GT Account credentials. This is
the same login information you enter for Buzzport, My GaTech and other Georgia Tech websites.
Review the image
below and ensure all configuration information is as indicated.
- Click "Save". Your device is ready to connect to "GTwifi".
